A man suffered life-threatening injuries after a shooting at a Virginia Beach house party, police said.
Around 12:36 a.m., police responded to a home in the 5500 block of Merner Lane after an altercation involving shots fired was reported, according to a Virginia Beach Police Department news release.
The victim was transported to an area hospital. No other injuries were reported by police.
Police have not yet provided suspect information.
The department’s homicide unit is investigating the shooting.
