A James City County hair salon has reopened with a new look and new leader.

Posh Salon, at Suite 18C in Monticello Marketplace, celebrated a ribbon cutting Aug. 2.

The salon is now owned by Nadia Duncan, who moved to Williamsburg with her family a year ago. A graduate of the Aveda Institute of Ohio and teacher at the Aveda Institute of Denver, Duncan has 14 years of experience in salon work.

“I am really excited for the opportunity to have my own salon here in Williamsburg,” Duncan said in a news release. “I couldn’t have asked for a better group of professionals to be by my side as we serve the local community.”

Under Duncan’s direction, Posh Salon has received a new modern interior look, and a new logo.

“Congratulations to Nadia and her team on the grand reopening of Posh Salon; the location has been an asset to JCC and I am excited to see it continuing under Nadia’s leadership,” said Supervisor Kevin Onizuk (Jamestown) in the release.

The salon is open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. It accepts appointments and walk-ins.
