The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office is investigating after an unknown person fired multiple bullets into a home in Upper York County around 1 a.m. Saturday.
Nobody was hurt during the shooting, which took place on the 100 block of Hickory Hills Drive. Bullets struck the home — with a family in the house at the time of the shooting — and a vehicle parked outside. Witnesses reported seeing a white van in the area prior to the shooting, according to a news release from YPSO Lt. Dennis Ivey.
Hickory Hills Drive is located in the Springfield Terrace subdivision off Queens Creek Road in Upper York County.
