An unidentified man robbed the Homewood Suites by Hilton on Bypass Road in Upper York County last week.
The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday on its Facebook page that the man entered the Homewood Suites by Hilton on Thursday night and asked about a room. When the clerk asked for identification, the man produced a gun and demanded money. The clerk gave the robber an undisclosed amount of money.
The robber then fled toward the Holiday Inn. He is described as a light-skinned, possibly biracial, man who is between 5’11” and 6’1.” He is between 23 and 27 years old and between 190 to 210 pounds with a medium build. He wore a grey hoodie with an emblem on the front and had a black glove with a red stripe along the index finger and thumb.
The Homewood Suites by Hilton is located on the 600 block of Bypass Road along with several other hotels.
