Water Country USA is planning a new ride for 2014, but aside from details in a few teaser videos, the theme park is not releasing much else.
Two teaser videos went up on Busch Gardens’ official YouTube channel this week: one Monday and one Friday.
Monday’s video shows Park President Carl Lum speaking with two individuals about a tinker toy model of a ride.
“This is the only one like it in North America,” said Larry Giles, vice president of engineering for Busch Gardens and Water Country USA, in the video.
After confirming the ride model is not built to scale, a bucket of water is dumped over the model. Splashing on screen next are the words, “It’s coming. 2014.”
A Nov. 1 video shows Lum and Giles sitting in a four-person inner tube “On-Site” looking at plans in the woods.
After pointing at a few drawings, Lum says, “It just feels like it’s missing something.”
“I see what you mean,” Giles responds.
The pair is then soaked by a woman holding a water hose and the same words announcing something is coming next year splash on screen.
A park spokesperson said he did not have any additional details.
