The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a motorcycle was stolen between 8 p.m. June 17 and 11 a.m. June 18 from the Pines of York apartment complex.

That motorcycle was the second one stolen from the Pines of York within a four-day window, however deputies believe the two incidents are unrelated as they’ve already arrested someone in connection to the first theft, which occurred on June 15, said Lt. Dennis Ivey of the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office.

Ivey said deputies are looking for a bright green and black 2012 Kawasaki ZX-6R motorcycle, which was locked in the parking lot with a cover on it at the time of the theft. It has a Georgia license plate.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Line at 888-LOCK-U-UP (888-562-5887).
