A Tide Radio favorite is coming to the Kimball Theatre this summer for a concert and you can get tickets starting tomorrow.
Brett Dennen – an indie rocker with a folksy sound that brings audiences to their feet – will perform at the intimate Kimball at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 31. Dennen’s most popular tunes, which you can hear on 92.3FM The Tide, include “Make You Crazy,” “Comeback Kid,” and “Sydney (I’ll Come Running)”.
Dennen is well-known for his four records but also for his work as soundtracks for popular TV shows including “Scrubs,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” House” and others. Both “Rolling Stone” magazine and Entertainment Weekly have named him an artist to watch.
The northern California native has been hailed as his generation’s Van Morrison or James Taylor. He’s worked with many musicians, including Jason Mraz and Natalie Merchant, and toured with the Dave Matthews Band, John Butler Trio and Rodrigo y Gabriela.
“Loverboy,” Dennen’s latest album, is packed with songs that make listeners want to sing along, get up and dance or do both.
Tickets are $26 each and available online only beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24. Look for the Brett Dennen button on WYDaily.com or click here for details and to get your tickets. This show is guaranteed to sell out, so don’t wait to make your plans to attend.
