The Virginia Department of Transportation announced Monday that maintenance crews will conduct at least two test lifts per day on the James River Bridge between Wednesday and Friday.
The lifts will occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to a VDOT news release. Each lift is expected to last around 20 minutes and are necessary to test recently installed standby diesel generators.
