Historic Jamestowne and Jamestown Settlement will mark the 406th anniversary of Jamestown’s founding May 11.
“Jamestown Day” will feature ongoing archaeological discoveries of the 1607 fort at Historic Jamestowne and one of Jamestown Settlement’s ships, the Discovery, sailing in the James River. Several activities, including military and maritime demonstrations and traditional music and entertainment will take place at both locations. A full schedule of events is available online.
Separate admission will be charged for each location. Admission to Jamestown Settlement is $16 for adults and $7.50 for children age 6 through 12; children under 6 are free. Admission for residents of James City County, York County and the City of Williamsburg, including the College of William and Mary, is free with proof of residency.
Admission to Historic Jamestowne is $14 for adults and children over age 16; children under 16 are free.
A four-site ticket is available for Historic Jamestowne, Jamestown Settlement, the Yorktown Battlefield and the Yorktown Victory Center. The ticket is available for purchase at Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Victory Center.
