Electronics Stolen From Unlocked Vehicles in JCC’s Villages of Westminster

About a dozen unlocked vehicles in the Villages of Westminster neighborhood in James City County were entered, with some having items stolen from them, around April 23.

Maj. Stephen Rubino of the James City County Police Department said none of the vehicles were damaged during the entries. Electronics were stolen from the vehicles.

It is unknown if the thefts are connected to a string of thefts that took place in James City County’s Powhatan Crossing neighborhood on April 13 and 14. Rubino said police are investigating both cases. The two neighborhoods are about 8 miles apart. All of the vehicles entered in both series of thefts were unlocked.
