Philly Pretzel Factory on Monticello Avenue has closed.
A sign on the door of the former pretzel shop indicated the business would not extend its five-year lease, as the past five years had been “long.”
“We have enjoyed providing you with ‘Philly’ pretzels and have especially enjoyed seeing you and making so many new friends,” the sign read.
A thank you at the bottom of the sign was directed at the area’s schools, including the College of William and Mary.
An email sent to the address listed on the sign was not returned.
