William & Mary Board of Visitors Set to Meet April 24-26

WILLIAMSBURG — The William & Mary Board of Visitors will meet at Richard Bland College and in Williamsburg on April 24-26 to conduct regular business of the board, the university announced.

The schedule, according to William & Mary, is as follows:

On Wednesday, April 24, The board will meet from 11 a.m. until noon in room 107 of Ernst Hall for the Richard Bland College tuition & fee public hearing required by Va. Code §23.1-307.D.

Committee meetings will begin at 2:45 p.m. in room 302 of Blow Memorial Hall in Williamsburg and will end for the day at 4:30 p.m. The board will meet in the Grimsley Board Room from 5 until 6 p.m. for the William & Mary tuition & fee public hearing.

At 6:45 p.m., board members will attend a dinner with the Rector at a private residence.

On Thursday April 25, committee meetings will be held between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. in Blow Memorial Hall. At 11:30 a.m., the full board will meet in the Grimsley Board Room to conduct business regarding Richard Bland College. At 12:15 p.m., board members may attend a lunch with student-athletes, coaches and athletics senior leadership in the President’s Box at Zable Stadium. At 5:30 p.m., Board members will attend a reception with faculty, staff and student leadership in the Wren Courtyard.

Board members may participate in a hard hat tour of Monroe Hall Dorm on Friday, April 26, starting at 8:15 a.m. At approximately 9:15 a.m. the full board will meet in the Grimsley Board Room in Blow Memorial Hall. Meetings will conclude for the day at 11:15 a.m.

Meetings of the full board will be held in the Grimsley Board Room in Blow Memorial Hall on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, according to the university. The board room is open to the public but seating is limited. Meetings of the full Board will also be livestreamed on the Board of Visitors webpage at wm.edu/bovmeeting.

William & Mary cautions that all times are approximate, and the board reserves the right to adjust its schedule as necessary. The meetings are open to the public, but with the exception of the scheduled public hearings on Wednesday, there will be no opportunity for public comment.
