HISTORIC TRIANGLE — Season two of “Historically Correct,” a YouTube series produced by the American Battlefield Trust, launched this month with a full slate of Virginia episodes ahead of the nation’s 250th birthday in 2026.
Created in partnership with VA250, the new season is set entirely in Virginia. The five-episode season dropped on Dec. 14, highlighting Williamsburg and its place in American Revolutionary War history.
The series is hosted by New Jersey high school history teacher Nicholas Ferroni.
“As a history teacher, I understand how deeply we all live in the shadow of the past,” says Ferroni. “Every freedom we enjoy is rooted in the sacrifices of countless individuals — people from every background, every walk of life — who shaped this nation. The American Revolution is the clearest example of that truth. Through ‘Historically Correct,’ I get to highlight the stories of those who played their part in American independence, especially the voices often left out of our textbooks. And while my home state of New Jersey is known as the ‘Crossroads of the Revolution,’ I also know one thing to be true: America was made in Virginia.”
New episodes launch every Sunday, with Yorktown’s episode dropping on Jan. 11.
Other Virginia spots featured include Scotchtown, Richmond and Green Spring.
