Ranger is a big baby. Sweet as could be, but has no idea how large he actually is. If you are looking for a 90-pound “lap dog” this is your guy. Ranger has gone to off-site adoption events with shelter volunteers.
Aside from a little bit of pulling on the leash, we are told he is very well-behaved on field trips around town. Ranger is also one of our playgroup superstars. When new dogs come in to the shelter, Ranger is our go-to guy for introducing them to playgroups. He is always happy to take the new pups under his wing and “show them the ropes.”
Ranger loves to help other dogs who are having a hard time coping with the stress of living in a shelter. His patient, happy-go-lucky, playful personality always seems to win them over. It is amazing to watch him transform a manic, reactive dog into a wiggly, joyful puppy. It has been great having him here at Heritage Humane Society, but we hope he finds his forever home soon.
