2018 WSO League Gala a Big Hit and Raises Over $27K

The Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra (WSO) League Gala April 21, 2018 raised over $27,000 in support of the WSO educational and performance programs. Frank Cubillo headlined “An Evening of Sinatra with Frank Sings Frank” and student violinist Caleb Song introduced the paddle raise to inspire the generous supporters of the WSO.

Following a great dinner at Two Rivers Country Club, Frank Cubillo roamed the tables, singing and dancing with the diners and ending with a chorus line of attendees to a great ‘New York New York’ finale. The WSO Master Classes, Instruments for Kids, side-by-side concerts, guest artists and musicians will all benefit from the generous contributions achieved during this WSO League event. It was a sold-out event with a significant waiting list indicating the strong and increasing support the WSO has in Williamsburg area. Many thanks to the event committee for making this a terrific evening for all. Photography by Kim Kiely.
