How was your pet’s name chosen?
She’s a true water dog! Bay for the Chesapeake Bay and Lee for the nautical term lee shore (we’re kind of water lovers too).
Does your pet have a favorite walking route?
Baylee loves taking walks in Pleasurehouse Point Park and on the beach. Once she sees the water, it’s tough to get her out of it.
What is your pet’s favorite food or treat?
Peanut butter all day long.
Does your pet have a pet peeve? If so, what is it?
Since she’s a rescue, she has some mild anxiety, so when meeting new dogs, she’d prefer they stay away from her face until she’s more comfortable.
If your pet could speak, what would be its favorite word and why?
“Toy!” Baylee loves playing fetch whether with a ball, frisbee, or water kong. If we ask her to bring us a toy, her face lights up, tail starts wagging, and within seconds she’s brought us a toy to start playing.
