The Tabb High School SideLine Cheerleaders carried on an annual tradition last month, showing their support for the members of the high school’s football team with handmade yard signs on the eve of their season opener against Hopewell.
The girls gathered Sept. 2 to make creative and encouraging signs they delivered to the football players’ lawns the following day.
“[They] wanted to show the boys their support and Tiger spirit,” said Liz Coffey, mother of one of the varsity cheerleaders.
The football players woke up on the morning of their first game to discover the signs on their lawns.
