
JAMES CITY COUNTY — A vehicle believed to have been used to break into Norge Tobacco and Vape early Sunday morning has been recovered in Henrico County, according to the James City County Police Department.
JCCPD said at approximately 3:45 a.m. Dec. 28, officers were dispatched to the 7500 block of Richmond Road to reports of a breaking and entering in progress at the Tobacco and Vape store. Police said officers arrived to find that the suspects had used a vehicle to back into the business through the front doors, loaded it with an undisclosed amount of merchandise and driven away.
The vehicle is a blue Hyundai hatchback reported stolen out of York County prior to the incident, according to police. The suspects are also believed to be connected to several similar crimes in the Hampton Roads and Metro Richmond areas over the past two weeks.
