JAMES CITY COUNTY — The James City County Police Department (JCCPD) is asking for the public’s assistance regarding a recent robbery that took place in Williamsburg.
According to JCCPD, on Wednesday, April 27 at approximately 5:21 p.m., officers from the department responded to a reported robbery at the Exxon station located at 4625 Monticello Ave. in Williamsburg.
The female subject in question arrived as a backseat passenger of a champagne- or silver-colored GMC Yukon. She then entered the store, purchased a pack of Marlboro Menthol 72 cigarettes, and demanded money from the cash register drawer. Following this, she left the location by the same means, with the vehicle last seen crossing Monticello Ave. onto News Road.
