Rainbow flags will go up alongside the roller coasters this weekend as Busch Gardens Williamsburg hosts its annual Pride Day celebration.

The event runs Sunday, July 26, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with entertainment, a vendor fair and specialty merchandise included with park admission.

The day centers on performances in the Abbey Stone Theatre by LGBTQ+ entertainers Jennifer Warner, Just Jasmin, Sabrina Lawrence, Celestia Cox, Gensis and Steve Roberts. Shows are scheduled for 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. and are billed as family-friendly.

Park-goers who want a closer view of the show can pay extra for it. Reserved seating for the Abbey Stone Theatre performances is available for $5.99, offering an up-close view of the singing, dancing, and high-energy numbers. This ticket covers seating only; park admission is required.

The celebration also includes a DJ dance party and a vendor fair, along with specialty merchandise tied to the event.

All Pride Day activities, other than the reserved-seating drag show, are included with park admission.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg held its first Pride Day in 2022 in partnership with the Hampton Roads LGBT Chamber of Commerce. This year’s event marks the celebration’s fifth year at the park.
