York County Consolidates Government Broadcasting Channels

York CountyYORK COUNTY — York County announced its government programming will consolidate from three broadcast channels into one beginning Nov. 12 in an effort to simplify access for viewers and improve the overall viewing experience.

According to the county, residents will now be able to find all county programming on Cox Channel 86 and Verizon Channel 2138. This unified channel will continue to air government meetings, public service information, community updates and special features about York County.

Viewers can also stay connected through the York County YouTube Channel, where programs are available on demand, providing an easy way for residents to watch meetings, news segments, and other community-focused videos from any device.

The county said it will host a free YouTube Workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 22, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Yorktown Library. Open to York County residents, the workshop will provide step-by-step guidance on how to access and navigate the county’s YouTube Channel.
