
WASHINGTON — The William & Mary Board of Visitors will hold a retreat July 22-24 in Washington, D.C., to serve as its annual planning and training retreat.
On Tuesday, July 22, the university said the newest members of the board will meet with senior administrators at 2:30 p.m. in the William & Mary Washington Center. A meeting to discuss the board platform and the Subcommittee on Compensation will meet at 4:15 p.m., and both meetings will conclude at 5:15 p.m. At approximately 6:30 p.m., the officers and new members of the board and President Rowe will meet for dinner at Rasika West End.
On Wednesday, July 23, the university said the board will convene in the Washington Center at 8:45 a.m., with meetings ending for the day at approximately 3:45 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., the board will attend a dinner and reception at a private residence.
On Thursday, July 24, board meetings will resume at 8:45 am in the Washington Center, according to William & Mary. Those meetings, including a working lunch, are scheduled to conclude at 2:15 p.m.
All times are approximate, the university cautions, and the board reserves the right to adjust its schedule as necessary.
The meetings are open to the public, but there will be no opportunity for public comment, the university said.
