Will Robert Belfry of Toano graduated form Paul Smith’s College in May 2025. Belfry earned a B.S. in Parks & Conservation Management from Paul Smith’s College, located in the Adirondacks in Northern New York.

Robert Sortor has been named to Upper Iowa University’s Spring 2025 Dean’s List

Upper Iowa University announced the Dean’s List for the Spring 2025 semester. To be honored, the undergraduate must have earned a minimum 3.50 GPA and be enrolled as a full-time student.

Among those named to the Dean’s List was Robert Sortor, a Public Administration major from Williamsburg.

Dean’s, President’s Lists Students Named for UA Spring 2025 Term

A total of 14,289 students enrolled during spring semester 2025 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean’s list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s).

Local students include:

  • Cassidy Lee of Toano was named to the President’s List.
  • Justin Lee of Toano was named to the Dean’s List.
  • Madeline Sedor of Williamsburg was named to the Dean’s List.
  • Ryan Priest of Williamsburg was named to the Dean’s List.
  • Vivian Lappas of Williamsburg was named to the Dean’s List.
  • Ava Michel of Yorktown was named to the Dean’s List.
  • Kimora Branch of Yorktown was named to the Dean’s List.

Williamsburg’s Canova Named to Spring 2025 Dean’s List at Mount Union

The University of Mount Union announced that Clarke Canova of Williamsburg has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2025 semester.

Canova was one of 748 students named to the Dean’s List. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours of traditionally graded coursework while achieving a grade point average of 3.550 or better with no letter grade below a B.

Shenandoah University Celebrates Over 460 President’s List Students For Spring 2025

Shenandoah University had 469 students earn a spot on the President’s List for the Spring 2025 semester.

Those who achieved that recognition include:

  • Megan Killian of Yorktown
  • Brian Morillo of Williamsburg

To qualify for this academic recognition, students must be enrolled full-time in baccalaureate degree programs and attain a semester GPA of 3.90 or higher. All President’s List honorees are also recognized on the university’s Dean’s List, which includes students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Shenandoah University Announces Over 1,050 Dean’s List Students For Spring 2025

Shenandoah University had 1,053 students who earned a spot on the Dean’s List for the Spring 2025 semester.

These students include:

Local students named to Bridgewater College’s Spring 2025 Dean’s List

Approximately 600 students at Bridgewater College were named to the Spring 2025 Dean’s List. Students on the Dean’s List have attained a 3.4 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0.

These students include:

  • Briana Carlsen, a history major from Williamsburg
  • Rachel Ellard, a strategic communications major from Yorktown
  • Matthew Green, a political science and international security and diplomacy major from Yorktown
  • Maddy Miller, a computer science major from Yorktown

Students on the Dean’s List have attained a 3.4 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0.

MTSU applauds Brooke Kelley among 5,986 undergrad scholars on spring 2025 dean’s list

Middle Tennessee State University congratulated 5,986 students who appear on the dean’s list for the Spring 2025 semester, including Brooke Kelley of Williamsburg.

To qualify for this distinction, an undergraduate student must maintain a current semester grade-point average of 3.5 or above and earn at least 12 semester hours.
