Troy University Announces Spring/Term 4 Graduates

Troy University recognized students who completed the requirements for graduation during the Spring Semester and Term 4 of the 2024-25 academic year. The Spring Semester includes graduates from the Troy, Alabama, campus. Term 4 graduates include students at TROY’s campuses in Dothan, Phenix City and Montgomery, Alabama, along with teaching sites outside of Alabama and online.

Spring 2025 dean’s list recognizes academic excellence at Radford University

Radford University has released its dean’s list for spring 2025. Appearing on the dean’s list is the most prestigious academic recognition students can receive for their performance during a semester, the university said.

Students will be placed on the dean’s list if they meet four specific criteria. They must have 12 semester hours of coursework graded A-F; earn GPAs of at least 3.4 for courses not graded on a pass-fail basis; obtain no grade lower than “C”; and receive no incomplete grades.

Hannah Proctor of Williamsburg named to Dean’s List at Grove City College

Hannah Proctor, a junior Computer Science major at Grove City College from Williamsburg, has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2025 semester.

Students eligible for the Dean’s List have a GPA of 3.40 to 3.59; for the Dean’s List with Distinction a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84 and for the Dean’s List with High Distinction a GPA of 3.85 to 4.0.

Jackson Query of Williamsburg Graduates from Emerson College

Emerson College awarded approximately 1,000 undergraduate degrees to the Class of 2025 during its 145th Commencement at Agganis Arena in Boston Sunday, May 11.

Jackson Query of Williamsburg received a BFA in Theatre and Performance.

Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress and Performing Arts alum Jennifer Coolidge gave the commencement address. Both Coolidge and the college’s retiring vice president of government affairs and community relations, Margaret Ings, received honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degrees.
