WILLIAMSBURG — Kelly Terracina saw a need and fulfilled it, opening Three Sisters eight and a half years ago as a place for all women and all budgets to shop and feel like a star.
Located on Prince George Street in Williamsburg, Three Sisters is home to trendy fashion designers like Free People, Farm Rio, Cleobella, Oliphant, Billabong, Gorjana and more.
Terracina wanted a place where her customers could have an experience.
“We are an experience for our clients and have designed our store as such. Customers walk into lovely painted concrete floors, reclaimed wood floors and a luxurious lounge area. Mothers and daughters shop together, nurturing a bond that can only exist between the two. Women pop in quickly for a special outfit for a date night with their husbands or boyfriends. Or there may be a grandmother shopping for that perfect gift for their granddaughter. Our clients enjoy browsing several lines of clothing that are unique to them,” Terracina said.
Terracina’s daughter, Maria, manages Three Sisters and helps curate the clothing lines that enter the doors. Maria earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising from Pratt Institute in 2019.
But Three Sisters is not just for clothes, recently, the staff also began selling wine to compliment the outfits.
“We are quickly becoming a go-to store for wine knowledge and specialty bottles of wine, including Pinot Noir, Rosé, Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc and many more varieties. We offer bottles of wine to pair back to outfits! Sparkly dresses go with bubbles, red dress vibes go with a Cabernet Sauvignon or Pinot Noir and a Rosé goes with just about anything,” Terracina said.
Three Sisters also offers a unique styling option for customers: personal styling appointments.
“We also offer appointments for complimentary closet stylings where we come to you and show you how to style your go-to items with new trends from the boutique. Additionally, we offer styling parties for groups of six or more a discount on their purchases and complementary bubbly,” Terracina said.
