HAMPTON — Virginia Peninsula Community College (VPCC) athletics is holding its third annual One Stop event to allow potential student-athletes to finalize their enrollment process in one location and one afternoon on Thursday, July 25.
The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at the Hampton campus in Kecoughtan Hall.
In addition, this year, VPCC is partnering with the What’s Next program, which assists community members interested in learning skilled trades.
“It’s a good way to capture potential students who want to enter our Workforce program,”
said athletics director Chris Moore.
Representatives from admissions, advising, financial aid, student accounts and the office of accessibility will be on-hand.
Potential students can also learn about Single Stop, JumpStart/TRiO, Great Expectations, and The Shop, all programs that offer assistance to help students overcome barriers that impede their chances of success.
VPCC’s athletic trainer will also be on hand for student-athletes who need a physical.
