Songwriting Duo to Perform at the Dewey Decibel Series April 5

WILLIAMSBURG — Greenville, South Carolina-based Americana/Folk/Country singer-songwriter Angela Easterling will be performing with musical partner Brandon Turner for the Dewey Decibel Concert Series at The Williamsburg Regional Library on April 5.

According to the library, Easterling “brandishes her songwriting chops with rootsy, refreshing, homespun tunes.”

Easterling lives with Turner and their three young sons on the Greer, South Carolina farm that has been in her family since 1791. Her sixth album, “Witness,” released in 2022, was chosen by American Songwriter Magazine as a Top 24 Album of the Year, was named Album of The Year in The Greenville Journal, and was chosen No. 6 in the Favorite Albums of the Year Reader’s Poll on Americana Highways. Her fifth album, “Common Law Wife,” went to No. 1 on the Roots Music Report Americana Country Airplay Chart.

Easterling has toured the U.S. both as a solo act and as a duo with Turner, as well as with her band, The Beguilers, and has played numerous concert series and music festivals.

Easterling and Turner will perform Friday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5, $4 for Friends of WRL. The library said the pricing is made possible by the Friends of Williamsburg Regional Library Foundation.
