Howell Creative Group, a locally based full-service advertising and branding agency, recently received six awards for outstanding creative work across all media.
The American Graphic Design Awards, hosted by Graphic Design USA, are an annual recognition of excellence in the field of advertising, branding and graphic design.
More than 10,000 entries are submitted each year, of which about 1,500 are selected as winners.
Howell Creative Group took home awards this year for numerous projects. The winning entries include branding for SelfMade Health Network, a Center for Disease Control program operated by Patient Advocate Foundation; Whitley’s Peanut Factory’s annual catalog collection; Old Point National Bank’s 2014 Annual Report; marketing for Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation’s production “Slave Spy: The Story of James Lafayette”; Pyramid Roofing’s Yellow Truck Club brochure; and collateral for Medical Action Industries.
The award recipients are selected by a panel of industry professionals each fall and were announced last month.
“It’s always an added bonus to win an award and we’ve been honored to receive several in the past couple of years,” said Kelsey Sanders, the group’s senior account manager. “When we design anything we do it with the specific objectives of the client in mind, so I think that shows in the work we do and the final products.”
