Providence Classical School Receives Accreditation

Providence Classical School recently became fully accredited through the Association of Classical Christian Schools (“ACCS”).

This distinction signifies a school’s adherence to foundational criteria that reflects stability, quality, and excellence. Of the 300 plus classical Christian ACCS member schools around the nation, PCS is the 53rd to receive the highest level of accreditation possible.

The school undertook the expansive year-long self-study process with the prayerful and practical support of faculty, staff, parents, and students to prepare for ACCS’s evaluation and then two-day visit.

PCS’s leadership is very grateful for our constituent’s constant and enthusiastic encouragement. Last month, Providence, among six other newly accredited institutions, was privileged to stand on stage at the annual summer ACCS conference in Texas to receive an award recognizing this accomplishment.

PCS looks forward to continuing its presence in and service to Williamsburg and James City County for many more generations!

PCS is in its 21st year with an enrollment of 246 Junior Kindergarten through 12th grade students. To learn more about Providence Classical School visit www.pcsvirginia.org.
