WILLIAMSBURG — Eleva Coffee Lounge opened its second location in Williamsburg’s New Town Shops on Nov. 22, five months after opening its flagship location in the city’s Merchants Square area.
Eleva sources its coffee from farms in Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Ecuador. Owners Amr and Sue Hassan told the Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce that as they travel, they always taste other countries’ coffees, and now, they look forward to sharing that experience with the community.
A ribbon-cutting was held Friday in celebration of the new location.

“It’s wonderful to have another place to come sit down and have a cup of coffee and talk in New Town,” said Jim Icenhour, James City County’s Jamestown District representative. “Welcome to the community, and we really appreciate [the owners] bringing your business to the Jamestown district of James City County.”
According to owner Sue Hassan, the second location will roast coffee on sight. In addition, the second location will also feature alcohol.
The lounge is located at 4808 Courthouse St. in New Town and will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit the official Eleva website.
