WILLIAMSBURG — All-natural nail salon N2 Natural Nails opened up in its brand new location at the beginning of April.
When the nail care clinic she had worked at was closing, previous manager Ellie Broaddus bought the concept, and N2 Natural Nails was born. Despite the change in branding, the salon still uses only all-natural nail care and treatments.
“We really just focus on helping your nails grow in the natural way,” Broaddus explained.
The concept was sold to Broaddus in October. N2 was located off Richmond Road for six months before finally opening up in its new location in the Olde Towne shopping center.
Broaddus has always loved the idea of doing nails. When she couldn’t afford to go to cosmetology school, she found an opportunity as a nail apprentice.
“I had noticed … it on Indeed that she was looking for a nail apprentice,” Broaddus recalled. “So I applied and I immediately got it.”
In addition to painting, the salon also offers a moisture maintenance treatment for those who wish to keep their nails treated, but don’t want to paint. It also offers a manicure bar, where guests at a party can opportunity to sit together rather than at different stations.
