WILLIAMSBURG — A popular frozen dessert franchise on Monticello Avenue is up for sale.
Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard, located at 220D Monticello Ave in Midtown Row, is for sale, according to the website for AJV Consulting Group.
The Williamsburg location, which opened in 2009, operates seasonally from March through September. The franchise owner is asking price is $215,000.
This is one of four Rita’s located on the Hampton Roads Peninsula, with the only other one in the Historic Triangle located inside of the Wal-Mart at 2601 George Washington Memorial Highway in Yorktown.
Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is a counter-serve fast food chain that specializes in Italian Ices and frozen custards.
