You heard correctly. Williamsburg Area Restaurant Association has expanded its Restaurant Week by another week.
The initiative now goes through Feb. 7, just in time for Super Bowl Sunday.
The annual event, which started Thursday, Jan. 21, encourages local foodies to share their experiences dining with WARA members for the chance of winning a prize.
This year, 37 WARA restaurants are participating.

Each day, 10 winners are awarded prizes, with the chance to win a chicken dinner, according to WARA’s website. Two winners are selected each day to receive a $25 WARA gift certificate, and six people are chosen to receive a $5 gift card from one WARA member.
“We just want to hear the good things,” WARA Director Debi Schaefer said in a Jan. 26 interview with WYDaily. “What’s your favorite restaurant meal or restaurant?”
Prizes will be available at Alewerks, LAB in Williamsburg Premium Outlets. Winners will be notified when prizes are available for pick up.
