Looking for a job? Williamsburg’s newest grocery store is hiring.

Earth Fare, a specialty organic and natural foods grocery store, will be hosting a job fair in May, according to a press release.

Earth Fare operates 46 stores across 10 states, touting a healthy lifestyle by selling products that are free of high-fructose corn syrup, trans-fats and artificial fats, colors, preservatives or sweeteners.

In February, Earth Fare announced it will be opening in Midtown Row this summer, next to Nawab Indian Cuisine, in what is now the Monticello Shopping Center. The company is looking to hire 130 employees for the Williamsburg store.

The move comes as more than 200 workers are being laid off amid the closings of local Farm Fresh stores.

Earth Fare’s job fair will be held at Fairfield Inn and Suites on Richmond Road between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on May 19-22.

Applicants should be prepared to talk about their qualifications and scheduling availability. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

On-site interviews will be conducted, and appointments are not necessary.
