Copper Fox Distillery is bringing samples of its whisky across the Atlantic.

Copper Fox is one of six Virginia distilleries participating in the Whisky Live London trade show at the Honourable Artillery Company March 23 and 24, according to a press release from the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

Samples of Copper Fox products will be offered in the “Virginia is for Spirits Lovers” booth, alongside samples from the other distilleries.

Set in a six-acre garden, Whisky Live London is the country’s premier whisky tasting show.

The VDACS and their European trade associates are supporting the distilleries’ involvement in the Whisky Live Trade Show.

“We’re excited to utilize our European representative office to support these distilleries in their efforts to expand into international markets,” said VDACS Acting Commissioner Charles Green. “We applaud them in their decision to use this major trade event as an opportunity to connect with distribution partners, trade buyers and industry influencers in the U.K.”

In addition to Copper Fox, other whisky distilleries that will attend the Whisky Live London include Belmont Farm Distillery, Catoctin Creek Distilling, Franklin County Distilleries, KO Distilling and Reservoir Distillery.

The VDACS Office of International Marketing assists distilleries, and other agricultural and forestry producers, in finding exporting opportunities around the world.

With more than 10 percent of the exported market share in 2017, the U.K. is the largest importer of U.S. whisky.

Virginia is home to 57 distilleries that provide nearly 1,500 full-time jobs.
