HISTORIC TRIANGLE — Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and locals can start planning now for where to eat on the special day. Whether it is at a sit-down restaurant or carry-out, there’s a few special meal options around town to celebrate the holiday.

Here are some places for locals to dine with their valentine:

  • Moody’s Kitchen (7129 Merrimac Trail, Williamsburg): Moody’s Kitchen is helping customers celebrate Valentine’s Day on whichever day they choose. The Valentine’s Day couples meal comes with their choice of soup, salad, entree and dessert. Entree choices include Wood Grilled Chateau Briand, Seared Scottish Salmon and Smoked Stuffed Chicken Valentino. Moody’s prepares the take-out meal to be reheated at home with instructions. The take-out dinner is $100 per couple and will be offered from Friday, Feb. 11 through Sunday, Feb. 13.

  • Cochon On Second (311 -106 2nd St, Williamsburg): Make Valentine’s weekend reservations for a prix fixe dinner. For $85 per person, customers will get their choice of appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts. Entrees include Prime Short Rib, Grilled Scottish Salmon and Paillards of Joyce Farms Chicken.
