Crews with VDOT will close a series of interstate ramps on I-64 and some nearby streets that will likely cause nightly delays due to the I-64 widening project.

Lane closures will be postponed in the I-64 widening work zone starting Wednesday and will resume Nov. 27, although the 55 mph work zone speed limit will remain in place.

A series of interstate on-ramps and off-ramps on I-64 at Route 199 and Fort Eustis Boulevard will be closed. Alternating single-lane closures will also be in effect between Jefferson Avenue and the Colonial Parkway in both directions of the interstate.

Along with ramp and lane closures, VDOT will close some roads and some lanes on Rt. 60 in James City and York counties.
