James City County police seek the public’s assistance to identify a masked bandit accused of entering a Martin’s Food Market and stealing an undisclosed amount of cash from the store safe.
Police believe on Feb. 9 a masked man entered the grocery on Monticello Avenue at 6 a.m., and went into the office and removed cash from the safe.
Caught on the store’s video surveillance footage, he is described as a man with a slender build, between 5-feet 8-inches and 5-feet 11-inches tall.
He was wearing a black baseball hat, black over-the-ear headphones, black balaclava over his face, black over-sized jacket, green polo shirt, black gloves, dark pants and white tennis shoes.
