Norfolk police have identified the woman who was shot and killed on Wednesday night as 33-year-old Norfolk resident Latoya S. Davis.
Around 11:30 p.m., Davis came into the emergency room of the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughter, located at 601 Children’s Lane. She died shortly after her arrival, according to a Norfolk Police Department news release.
Police believe Davis was shot in the 2300 block of Barre Street, more than two miles away from the hospital.
