Person drowns at Virginia Beach Oceanfront, officials say

A person drowned at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront Thursday afternoon, officials say.

Emergency crews responded to the drowning in 600 block of South Atlantic Avenue the at 2:34 p.m., according to a dispatcher.
