Norfolk police are looking for a 24-year-old man accused of abducting and threatening to kill his family members on Thursday.
Khiree Akeem Smith, of the 3500 block of Seay Avenue, used a gun to force his two young kids and their mom into a car. He also threatened to shoot them, according to a Norfolk Police Department news release.
Smith is accused of forcing the mother out of the car and taking the children. The mother called 911, and police found the kids unharmed on Friday morning.
Akeem was charged with three counts of abduction, three counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and two counts of child endangerment.
Smith is described as 6 feet 3 inches tall and 165 pounds. He has black hair, worn in dreadlocks, brown eyes and a goatee.
