Beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Norfolk residents can park their vehicles in three parking garages for free, the city announced.
The Waterside Garage at 50 Martin’s Lane, the Boush Street Garage at 112 West City Hall Ave. and the York Street Garage at 215 W. York St. will stay open until Monday morning.
Residents who normally park on the street are encouraged to use these garages. Downtown parking in the city is suspended from 11:59 p.m. Friday until 2 p.m. Monday.
