Literacy for Life will host their annual Reading Between the Wines event at the Williamsburg Winery at 6 p.m. Monday.
According to a news release from the non-profit organization, the event will feature a presentation by New York Times bestselling author Dorothea Benton Frank as well as a smorgasbord of hors d’oeuvres and wines. There will also be both a live and silent auction.
Participants will be presented with the opportunity to hear from a “Literacy for Life learner about how the program changed his life – and his son’s life as well,” according to the release.
The non-profit organization provides tutoring to adults in reading, writing, health literacy, and English as a second language. All event proceeds will directly benefit Literacy for Life.
Tickets are $75 and can be found online here.
