HRA to host 10th annual one-act festival

hra-one-act-play-logoHampton Roads Academy’s tenth annual One-Act Festival celebrates three unique, short, one-act plays featuring HRA Upper School students and HRA faculty members. The Sky is Falling by Patrick Gabridge, Lover’s Affections x 3, directed and edited from three works of William Shakespeare and Keeper’s At The Edge of the Sea are directed by HRA fourth grade teacher, Kate Goddin, HRA senior, Elizabeth Stanley and HRA Theatre Director, Jim Gandolfo, respectively. The One-Act Festival will be presented in an intimate Black Box format.

Hampton Roads Academy Performing Arts presents the tenth annual One-Act Festival Thursday, September 29, Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1. All performances start at 7 p.m. in Hampton Roads Academy’s Svein J. Lassen Auditorium. Tickets are available at $5 for students and $10 for adults.
