VIRGINIA BEACH — Drawings, paintings, photographs, prints, sculptures and graphic designs: The Sandler Center will soon have them all on display.
Works from the Old Dominion University Student Art Exhibition will go up Monday, showcasing works made in February at the university’s Undergraduate Research Symposium.
Art is one of the disciplines included in the annual symposium, hosted by the university’s honors college. There, faculty provide guidance to select students as they research topics, including areas of art.
The creations can be viewed in the second- and third-floor lobbies through July 28.
The Sandler Center is also hosting a free artist reception at 6 p.m. on June 9. The reception will be paid for by Tom and Juanita Felton.
