VIRGINIA BEACH – Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will play a Sept. 3 concert at Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater, promoters announced today.
The tour celebrates “The Ties That Bind: The River Collection,” a comprehensive look at the era of the 1980 album, “The River,” and the associated tour. The original River Tour ran from Oct. 3, 1980, to Sept. 4, 1981.
Tickets will go on sale 10 a.m. Friday and can be purchased online, at Ford box office at the amphitheater, or by phone at 800-745-3000.
Springsteen last played at the amphitheater in Virginia Beach in April 2014.
