This and That
The storied streets and buildings of Colonial Williamsburg are thick with the stories and faces of the American Revolution. Beneath that historic veneer are dark corners and quiet places where generations of ghosts reside in arcane silence. Seek them out in a family-friendly tour suitable for all ages in the Tavern Ghost Walk, which departs Shields Tavern at 6:30 p.m. today. Tickets are $7 for those 12 and under, and $12 for all others.
Ready for spring? Slake your thirst for rodent divination two days early by visiting the Virginia Living Museum on Saturday for a meet and greet with Chesapeake Chuck, the museum’s resident whistle-pig. There will also be special activities and crafts related to groundhogs. It’s all included with a regular museum ticket.

It’s time for hoops. The College of William & Mary’s women’s basketball team is slated to hit the Kaplan Arena court at 7 p.m. today to take on University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Tickets are available at William & Mary’s website for athletics.
Bundle up and take a ride to Toano for the farmer’s market, where you’ll find products from Bob’s Sausage Company, Rainbow Eggs, Heidi’s Home Grown along with a bevy of produce. The market is open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
