Support the hungry this holiday season with live theater at the Kimball.

Dreamers Productions’ “Same Time Next Year” opens Friday for a run of four shows in Merchants Square, with a portion of the proceeds going to Williamsburg Area Meals on Wheels.

The romantic comedy traces the 25-year love story of a couple who meets once a year. Bernard Slade’s work chronicles the relationship from the 1950s through the 1970s.

With some adult language suitable for audiences aged 13 and older, the play stars Ashlie Bruun Ranhorn and Alex Morse and is directed by Brandon Lyles.

For 40 years, Meals on Wheels has served local adults with daily hot, nutritious meals. It reaches about 500 residents each year.

Shows for “Same Time Next Year” are at 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday. Tickets for all seats cost $18.95.

To purchase tickets, call 800-HISTORY or visit the Colonial Williamsburg website.
