A locally owned florist shop has earned two recent honors for its arrangements and service to the community.

Morrison’s Flowers & Gifts won the Teleflora Top 500 award and WeddingWire 2014 Couples’ Choice award.

The Teleflora ranking, among about 13,000 florists in the network, recognizes the company for its volume of products, customer service ranking, longevity, refusal rates, technology usage and other criteria.

The award from the WeddingWire, a website that connects couples with wedding vendors, is based on reviews from newlyweds. It considers total number of reviews, recent assessments, consistency over time and overall quality to honor the top five percent of professionals.

Morrison’s Flowers & Gifts is located at 1303 Jamestown Road, Suite 129, in James City County.
