For 21 years, a local creative firm has delivered toys to brighten children’s spirits during the holidays.

This season, Howell Creative Group is giving stuffed otters to young members of the community through the Salvation Army.

The otters are from the Virginia Living Museum in Newport News, where Kathy Howell, the firm’s president and creative director, is the president of the board of trustees.

“Tying in the Museum’s brand and signature animal attraction for this year’s theme makes our donation even more meaningful,” Howell said in a news release. “We’re happy these will become new best friends for children in our community.”
